Winsome Hags

The Winsome Hags celebrate aging. Audiences interact (I Love to Laugh, Minnie the Moocher) and sing along (Hey, Good Lookin’, Rock Beethoven’s Hound Dog, Never Grow Old). Hag philosophy (allowing one’s cracks to show makes one more beautiful) is expressed in Japanese Bowl. Throw It Away describes using ourselves up, giving ourselves away in love. Ruth Andrews, Steve Kaszar and Beverly Smith perform with guitar, banjo, bells, drums, fiddle, flute, kazoo and ukulele. Their program is appropriate for seniors and all ages—it’s always custom-designed. The Winsome Hags perform on concert stages, at senior centers, libraries, camps and farmer’s markets.
