Ethnic and Folk Music

Songs In The Color Of Life

Audiences experience a thrillingly sentimental and soulful journey through memorable original compositions styled with select musical works of legends like Joni Mitchell, along with obscure but intriguing artists like the late Judee Sill – all dramatically performed on 12 alternately tuned guitars. Many selections have otherwise been lost to the stage for decades. This unique Jazz/Folk show also features documentary reflections interwoven with the musicianship and lyrical poetry of music that defined an era. In a male dominated industry where women struggled to be recognized and respected, this show celebrates the brilliance and endurance of women whose music stands the test of time. Available as a solo performance or with a 3 piece Jazz band.
