Beyond Storytelling: Stories from Around the World

Improvisational acting, mime, puppetry and drumming are performed to tell traditional tales from around the world. Roan tells stories from her own cultural heritage—Scots-Irish, French, Native American and Italian and respectfully shares tales from other cultures. She was resident storyteller for the Smithsonian and the Kennedy Center in DC and a storyteller for the National Park Service’s 100th Anniversary. “Encore performances are already scheduled!”—Detroit Country Day School “Spirited performances filled with humor and imaginative visuals.”—The Detroit Institute of Arts “Brilliant!”—Ardscoil Eanna School—Dublin, Ireland
