Ben Hassenger “Michigan’s Ukulele Ambassador”

Ben Hassenger is well-known as “Michigan’s Ukulele Ambassador”. As a workshop leader, Ben teaches ukulele to students and educators in schools, seniors in retirement communities, and at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and MSU Community Music School. As a performer, he appears solo and with The Ukulele Kings at concerts and festivals for children and adults across the North America. A prolific songwriter, two of his songs about the Detroit Tigers are enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. His performances are fun and engaging with a variety of original songs about animals, food, love, Michigan, and the other important things in life.

Residency: $250 – $1500
Length of Residency if Applicable: 1 – 7 days
Travel Expenses: Automobile mileage from Lansing. Compensation for overnight lodging.
